Robert on pärit Mckay linnast, Austraaliast. Tallinnas alustas ta tööd inglise keele õpetajana 2008. aastal. Enne Eestisse kolimist reisis ta kolm aastat Euroopas ja Aasias ning oma rännakutel sattus ta tihti Tallinnasse, mis talle väga südamelähedaseks sai. Vabal ajal meeldib talle reisida, kriketit mängida ning uute inimeste ja kultuuridega tutvuda.
