English4Refugees (E4R) розпочався як проект, ініційований Філом Марсдейлом навесні 2022 року.
Завдяки допомозі команди з 15 чудових викладачів-волонтерів, допоміжного персоналу та безціній практичній та фінансовій підтримці бізнес-спільноти та окремих людей в Естонії та в усьому світі, ми провели початковий інтенсивний курс для ~100 біженців від війни в Україні в групах від початкового рівня – до рівня С1, і відтоді розширювали ці курси.
Наші основні цілі залишаються незмінними. Оскільки англійська є навичкою для життя та соціальної мобільності, ці курси спрямовані на три речі:
1) Покращити ваше знання Англійської мови
2) Допомогти з навичками та знанням мови, необхідними для пошуку роботи та адаптації в Англійськомовному робочому середовищі
3) Надати міжнародно визнану кваліфікацію з Англійської мови (ESOL) від LanguageCert
Як приєднатися:
Щоб приєднатися до групи або потрапити в список очікування на майбутні курси English4Refugees, вам потрібно буде пройти процес перед курсом:
1) Пройдіть попередній тест тут.
2) Забронюйте інтерв‘ю. Коли ви закінчите попередній тест, ви отримаєте електронний лист з інструкціями щодо проходження співбесіди.
3) Після співбесіди ми або запропонуємо вам місце в групі, або додамо вас до списку очікування на майбутні курси
English for Refugees
English4Refugees (E4R) began as a project initiated by Phil Marsdale in Spring 2022. With the help of a team of 15 fantastic volunteer teachers and support staff and some invaluable practical and financial support from the business community and individuals in Estonia and around the globe, we provided an initial intensive course for ~100 refugees from the war in Ukraine Beginner – C1 level and have been extending those courses ever since then.
Our core aims remain unchanged. As English is a skill for life and social mobility, these courses aim to do three things:
- Improve basic English skills
- Help with skills and language needed to apply for jobs and working in an English speaking environment
- Put refugees in a position to gain an internationally recognised qualification in English (Language Cert ESOL).
English4Refugees courses are twice a week on Mondays and Wednesday and Tuesdays and Thursdays in the late afternoon/evenings.
If you are an adult refugee, over 18 years old, and arrived in Estonia after 24 February 2022, this opportunity is for you.
How to join a group:
To join a group or to get yourself on the waiting list for future English4Refugees courses, you’ll need to go through a pre-course process:
- Take a pre-course test here.
- Book a face to face interview. When you do your pre-course test, you will get an email with instructions for taking an interview. Please note that interview times are often not available. So please keep the email and try again in a few weeks.
- After your face to face interview we will either offer you a place in a group or add you to a waiting list for future courses.
